Lawna has 20+ years in the nursing profession. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in Canada in1999, and went on to attend grad school at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, where she graduated in 2012 as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
She is passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of her patients. Over the past 10 years she has taken a keen interest in the treatment of diabetes and obesity, and has been helping this population achieve healthier lives through counseling on lifestyle modifications and medication management.
